The Moisture Barriers We Install

Once underlying damage is addressed, we install a moisture barrier built for your home's specific conditions.
We use three primary systems.

ZIP System®

The ZIP System builds the moisture barrier directly into the structural sheathing panel. It creates a continuous air and water barrier across the full exterior wall: no gaps at panel seams, no separate house wrap to install incorrectly. Everything works as one system. It's one of the most structurally sound moisture management options available for residential exteriors.

James Hardie Wrap (HardieWrap)

HardieWrap is engineered to work with James Hardie fiber cement siding. It pulls water away from the wall cavity and lets moisture vapor escape from the inside out, which prevents the kind of slow moisture buildup that leads to mold and rot over time.

Tyvek® Wrap

Tyvek is a tear-resistant house wrap that blocks liquid water from penetrating the wall while letting water vapor escape outward. It has a long track record in residential construction and performs across a wide range of exterior surfaces. At 11-mil thickness, it holds up through installation and behind finished siding.
