Understanding the Cost of Quality

At Sideco, we know that when bringing your vision to life, your first question involves how much it's going to cost. The truth is your home isn't like anyone else's. We are determined to provide the best quality possible to every homeowner we work with. Our pricing is reasonable, consistent, professional, and above all else, honest. Your goals guide every decision we make from start to finish.

Instead of avoiding your question with an empty number, we've outlined exactly where our prices come from. In the spirit of full transparency, we believe that understanding our process is the best way for you to see the value in what we do. You get a clear view of every cost so you can make decisions with confidence.

What Determines Sideco Pricing

Every project has three main costs: the products, the labor, and the cost of doing business.

1. The Products

Our decades-long partnerships with Marvin Windows, James Hardie Siding, and TimberTech Decking are no accident. Marvin and James Hardie have been in business for over 100 years. They aren't the cheapest materials on the market; they're the best. We choose them because each one of these manufacturers stands behind its products, and they allow us to offer you the best possible outcome.
Our manufacturers allow us to ensure long-term strength and value for your home. They have both the best products and industry-leading warranties. Because of our partnerships, our work stands the test of time for your dream home.

2. The Labor

The Sideco team is the backbone of our accomplishments. Every installer who makes up the Sideco family is a full-time, W2 employee. It’s worth the extra money to us and to our customers. Their expertise ensures your project meets the standards you expect for your home.

Because we invest in our craftsmen, our average employee tenure is over 16 years. Time and again, our customers remark on the quality of our installation team and the work they do. With continued education in our field, safety training, retirement, vehicles, PTO, and insurance, we're able to provide for our team. In turn, we give you the results you expect from an investment of your own.

3. The Cost of Doing Business

When some companies rely on cash labor or loosely managed subcontractors, it often comes with tradeoffs. Workers may not be properly insured, safety standards can be inconsistent, and accountability is limited. Sideco operates differently. We follow all federal, state, and local regulations, carry proper insurance, and maintain strict safety standards on every job. On the other side of the spectrum are national companies or franchises, where the majority of the markup price you pay goes to marketing, advertising, and sales cost.

In our 40 years of local business, we've focused on quality results without middlemen, sales commissions, or markups. Every dollar you spend goes directly into the quality of your project. When you work with Sideco, you have direct contact with us. We're committed to helping you entrust your hard-earned money to a local, community-focused company with a proven track record.

How We Build Your Estimate

The estimate process is designed to give you clarity and confidence in your decision.

In-Home Evaluation

Everything starts with a short visit to your home. This visit gives you a clear starting point for shaping the project you want. We take 20-30 minutes to measure applicable areas, learn about your goals for your home, and understand the scope of your project. Our Hover technology gives you clear measurements with a 3D model for a realistic display of your options.

Showroom Visit

After your evaluation, we invite you to our showroom so that you can see our products in person, learn how we install them, and get a feel for the Sideco difference. Seeing the materials firsthand helps you choose options that match your vision and your home’s needs. Almost all customers tell us the showroom visit is the most influential factor in their decision.

Final Quote

After we've gathered all the details, you'll meet with Jimmy at our office to go over your final proposal. We walk you through each step of the process so you can make an informed, confident choice. There are no gimmicks, no "50% off labor" sales: just a fair, accurate price for unmatched work and lasting results.

Why The Sideco Difference is Worth It

A Sideco project is about giving you the best result - not getting the lowest number. With premium materials, esteemed employees, and a company whose lasting work speaks for its quality, our prices are a reflection of value. You get reliable renovations done once, done right, and done beautifully.

We don't believe in gimmicks like "50% off labor; buy one window, get one free - no interest or payments for extended periods!!!" All of these false claims cost you money as a homeowner. The truth is, no installer is going to work for half pay. We don't play the game of marketing tricks. We avoid deceptive pricing by walking you through our process and giving you our best price upfront. Our goal is to give you everything you need to make the decision that’s right for your home.
