In the historic Heights neighborhood of Little Rock, we helped Greg Heird completely transform his aging home with a full exterior renovation. The project began with a referral to our team, Mr. Heird was looking to replace his deteriorating siding and aging windows.
The ask was simple, replace the siding and update the windows. Using James Hardie lap siding and Marvin Windows, we began the task of updating this beautiful home and bringing it back to its original look and feel. Sideco is the choice for many heights homes because time and time again we have been able to match the historical aesthetic with modern technology and durability. As is common with older homes, there were multiple layers of siding to remove, which added complexity to the job. But with decades of experience, we tackled the challenge with precision, revealing a structure that could finally shine again.
One of our favorite features of this renovation was the construction of a custom eyebrow roofline above the garage, its a subtle touch but it looks as if it should have always been there. This detail along with the clean lines of the new siding and window upgrades elevated the entire home’s appearance.
Now, this home not only looks the way it was originally intended, but it’s also built to last—weather-resistant, low-maintenance, and energy-efficient for decades to come.
