Preserving the Character of a Craftsman Home

This homeowner's priority was maintaining the original architecture of a bungalow built in the 1920s. Sideco used James Hardie fiber cement lap siding to replicate the authentic look of traditional wood while delivering modern durability against moisture, pests, and the elements.

Attention to Detail Throughout

The crown molding is crisp and true to the era, and the open eaves and exposed rafter tails were carefully restored to preserve what makes a home like this iconic. Marvin windows & doors further liven the home's exterior while maintaining its classic look. Every element was approached with the respect the home's history deserves.

A Front Porch Reimagined

The front porch was upgraded with a tongue-and-groove ceiling that adds warmth and depth to the space. It's the focal point of the exterior and one of the first things you notice when you walk up to the door.

A TimberTech Deck Built for the Long Term

Out back, a new TimberTech composite deck offers the look of natural wood with the durability to resist fading, staining, and wear over time. It's a space built for living and built to last.
