Outlasts cedar

Maumelle home replaces Cedar Siding with James Hardie
Client: John and Helen Casteel
City: Maumelle
Neighborhood: River Run
Year Completed: 2018

Project Details

Simply put, cedar, though beautiful when relatively new, doesn’t last very long - usually 20 or so years if its maintained. But when it has reached the end of its life, you have to remove it. After removing all of the old cedar from the home Sideco installed a new moisture barrier with the zip system. Sideco then installed James Hardie 7" reveal Khaki Brown plank siding along with James Hardie Timber Bark Trim. Now the new siding is ready to take on the elements.
