From Garage Project to Full Historic Home Renovation
Dan Arthur first worked with Sideco for siding on his detached garage. Sideco was his first choice when he decided to address the main home. Dan's nearly century-old Hillcrest home needed long-lasting exterior restoration, but Dan wanted to ensure that it kept its 20th-century charm.
Honoring the Past with Modern Materials that Last
The first task involved replacing all of the existing siding with James Hardie lap siding, chosen for its strength and ability to replicate the traditional wood design. When Dan showed the Sideco team an original photo of the home's porch in the 1920s, we made changes to match the original architecture.
Craftsmanship, Efficiency, and Long-Term Protection
The Sideco crew began ahead of schedule and completed the complex job in less than three weeks. Dan appreciated the efficiency and professionalism that went into a project of this size. The team kept the worksite, home, and landscape clean.
James Hardie siding turned this home into a reflection of its original form nearly 100 years ago. The difference now is that it's protected by unbeatable materials that resist rot, pests, and weather.
Ready for the Next Century
Sideco brought this Hillcrest home back to life. With Dan's vision, Sideco's execution, and James Hardie strength, it's prepared to endure the next 100 years.
